I haven't posted here in quite a while but that's going to change. I have a bunch of Christmas commissions I need to get moving on.

This commission took me the longest time yet, about two months! My routine was badly disrupted this summer. I've had three different art shows to prepare for. I'm lucky my clients were so patient.

This is a pretty fun project. I'm still not sure what to do with 'em when I'm done.

53 card set

I built a wooden box that holds 53 2.5"x3.5" cards. I'm going to fill it with small portraits of monsters, aliens, mutants and freaks. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it when they're all done. Here are the first eight cards. I might write a short character bio on the back of each card.

Frankenstein's Monster

There's a blog in Britain that is soliciting pictures of frankenstein's monster. I thought it would be fun to participate.
